Spanish Teacher: Seventh-Eighth Grade
Appointed in 2005
I love middle school aged students. They are so fresh and eager to learn. I prefer to teach in a Christian environment. I also love that the administration at St. George trusts the teachers enough to let us have input regarding curriculum and the manner that curriculum is taught. Each Spanish teacher is allowed to put his/her own stamp on the class. This is what makes teaching fun.
I am from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am an avid traveler. I spend big chunks of my summers in Europe and the Middle East. I have been married for 25 years and have two children. Pets rule at my house. I have two dogs and a guinea pig. I am an avid reader too.
I bring 19 years of teaching experience to Saint George. I absolutely love to teach foreign languages. I am not afraid to try new teaching methods and technology.
