Community
A community of achievement
St. George is a tight-knit, faith-based community of parents, teachers, and students – all dedicated to the common goal of nurturing achievement. In children, achievement can take many forms – academic, athletic, artistic, leadership, social, and more – but we believe that every student can achieve in some area given the right environment. We also believe that by encouraging and supporting each student's area of God-given talent, our children will gain confidence and are likely to achieve in a multitude of areas, making them more successful and well rounded overall.
Commitment, ability, and character
Although we value diverse achievement in our students, we know that the only way to ensure the right environment for fostering that achievement is by focusing the community on those individuals who share our common goal. We steadfastly require the highest commitment, ability, and character from every student we admit. St. George students must truly want to learn, be able to keep up with the fast pace of coursework, and be exemplary citizens of the school. Parents must be engaged and active participants in the teaching process. All teachers and faculty at St. George are committed to the success of each student individually, while also keeping the rest of the class challenged and achieving to their fullest.
Strengthening the community by increasing access
By keeping this tight focus on our community, our students are able to achieve more, with less financial burden than in many other private schools. Ultimately, by admitting those students and families who genuinely share our vision, rather than those who can afford to pay the most, the entire community benefits.
